Ranch Rope Education Month | 9.0mm Three Strand Poly
As most of you know the 9.0mm poly is going to be my absolute favorite ranch rope. These have a slim feel to the hand yet have a ton of weight for throwing long bombs. The small diameter allows this rope to cut the wind really well. The weight of this rope additionally helps with heeling in grassy areas where a lighter rope would get hung up. You can deliver any shot known to man with this rope (Yes! Even a heel trap). Watch my video here of how to heel with a poly. Additionally these ropes do not fuzz up. The poly strands will melt together over time. The benefit to this is that even with heavy use you're never going to have this rope feeling like a wind sock. Polys traditionally are made for commercial fishing nets so the water and mud are a non issue. If this rope gets caked in mud just dunk it in a water tank and keep it pushing. I love our polys and use them myself. These ropes are great for beginners, intermediate ropers, and advanced hands. Checkout all the options below!
Sincerely,
Dalton Darnell
