2016 AQHA #5813875 Mare BOON LIGHT LADY
Tanice came to us last winter out of Ruby Valley, Nevada, from some good friends that used her on the ranch and in the cutting pen. When we picked her up, we took her to Arizona with us, where we spent the rest of the winter in the arena. The following spring, we headed to Rawlins, WY, to care for 3,000 yearlings in the mountains. She spent the summer making big circles up and down the mountain, branding, doctoring, and gathering. We were fortunate enough to haul her to many brandings this spring and summer. We doctored cattle on her all summer. She is small in stature but has the grit to get any job done. She was used to help with all the fall work sorting and shipping; she is defiantly the horse to grab when you have to sort in the alley. Throughout the summer, we had several visitors and young kids we would let ride Tanice. Tanice always did a great job taking care of whoever was riding her. This fall, we headed to Oklahoma for the winter, where she has gone back to the arena. We have started her in the heeling; she is doing great and would also make a nice little breakaway horse. If you are looking for a great all-around horse, she could be a good fit. She would fit someone that would like to ride on the weekend, ride every day, rope outside, rope in the arena wants to team sort or just use for whatever you like to do. We haven't found a job that she won't do.
