Howard is the horse that meets you at the gate and wants to be your friend! He is a willing partner in all that you ask. Howard has been exposed to many disciplines of ranch work. He started his cattle career on a feedlot and was asked to push cattle up to sick pens and open and close gates. He was then taken to the arena to clean up some arena maneuvers. We even worked the flag on him; he has a lot of excellent movements and the ability to work cattle with ease. Howard has been in Wyoming on a yearling outfit all summer. He has traveled on rough terrain in Wyoming, is sure-footed, and has been a go-to horse for our summer jobs. This winter, we had a chance to take him to a branding. He was great, and we are excited to start him in the heading throughout the winter; he has the size and mind to make a great head horse.
